This book has been on my to-read list for a very long time and I finally managed to read it and I really enjoyed it. It's very easy to read and it didn't take me long to finish it. I have always thought that even the smallest things can have a big impact on either our lives or lives of other people, whether we know it or not and this is exactly what this book is about. Although Mitch Albom doesn't go into great depth and the five stories are quite short, he still manages to make the reader think about how people's lives are intertwined. If you've never thought about how your life and your decisions could have an impact on someone else's life then this book is a must-read. It is life changing and eye-opening.

Beautifully written.
I've read many books about grief, love and life. But this one's the first book I read about the things above and the why. "Why?" The question that is never answered throughout our entire life, and this idea that it might be answered in Heaven by the people whose lives intertwined with ours in some kind of way is beautiful.
Eddie was beautifully written, a common person, easy to compare to.
I cried a lot by the end and I can only hope that the author is right, that we do get the answers we need to achieve peace.

Mitch Albom was recommended to me by a teacher. Still one of the best books by far! It's truly a lovely book, and a must read

This book is cheesy, the kind where you place on the the windowsill where the book lies aimlessly still, waiting and waiting. And one day, you pick it up and you read it in a gulp and come to a conclusion that it is cheesy almost to the point that it makes you feel like puking. You know like a piece of grilled cheese sandwich you told yourself that you should not have, but you still chomp down the sandwich in a bite.

Yeah, in the simplest deconstruction: This is the kind of book where the writing style is flat and unimpressive, characters lacklustre, plot uninteresting and yet you still like it in that greasy stupid way you like your fattening almost sinful grilled cheese sandwiches.
