I was familiar with the story through the Hellraiser franchise. I was looking forward to reading the source material. It is a short read and fast-paced. I thought the premise was original and engaging, but the actual story was pretty standard and straightforward. The opening chapter is intense. I'm glad I read it.

It is weird reading the story and having the Hellraiser movie playing simultaneously.

I love the movie so I had to read this and it was so worth it! Perfectly disturbing and fast paced

Very exciting, fast paced read!
SpoilerWould have enjoyed more information/lore on the Cenobites and I wish that Julia’s motivation for helping Frank was a bit more fleshed out (haha)

As a fan of the hellraiser movies, I wanted to read where the inspiration came from.

Although some character relations were changed it worked for the movie and still held true to the book. A short read, very well written. Sweet and to the point.

If you’re a fan of the Hellraiser movies, I’d give this a read. You will not be disappointed. I know most say the book is always better than the movie. In this case I think they both are on par with each other.
