İ loved it. Honestly it was beautifully written. All of the characters had a personality and depth to it. I truly enjoyed every page. But… I personally didn’t like who Marianne married with. I would have loved it more if she stayed single or met someone completely new and her age. But the story is more than a simple romance so it really didn’t bother me that much.

I love Jane Austen. Pride and Prejudice has been one of my favorites for years. But Sense and Sensibility just about killed me. You can tell it was her first novel. She polished them as she continued.
This one shows the glimmers of her ironic and amusing voice, but my goodness the characters were exhausting.

Making my way through Austen. Happy to live in an age when I didn’t have to marry an old man.

What is up with that ending? Also, Edward is a ninny, and completely undeserving of Elinor.
