I have read a lot of really awesome books this year, and I have to say, this is one of my favorites out of all of them! Frank and Emily's relationship was adorable, and Sloane and Emily's relationship reminded me of me and my best friend! (Minus the list/disappearing thing...) I will definitely be picking up the rest of Morgan Matson's works!

This was so cute!!
I really connected with Emily and was rooting for her the whole way as she slowly began climbing out of her shell. I loved the kind of whimsical feel the list gave, allowing for some truly cute and comedic moments.
Something I particularly enjoyed about this book was that romance took a backseat to friendship and Emily growing as an individual. Dawn and Collins were great side characters, and the friend group formed between them and Emily and Frank warmed my heart. There was also realistic conflict at times where I expected characters to just be let off the hook, because I’ve been so used to that trend before.
I did love the romance though. I’m a sucker for a friends to lovers trope, and Frank was the most adorable person ever :)
Now to address the negative, I just wished the ending was slightly more resolved, specifically for Emily’s friends and her parents. It wasn’t so bad where the novel felt incomplete, but enough to make me want more.
Overall, this was exactly what I was looking for in a great summer read!
