An interesting book on one of our lesser known presidents and of his assassination. It paints an interesting picture of the complex circumstances and a sympathetic one to all the people who were affected.

Gripping story but I would have liked it if Bell and Lister had been intertwined more often than they were (mainly beginning and end but not much in the middle).
