One of my all-time favourite series. This was at least my fourth time reading it. I think I like the other books even more, but this one is solid.

I enjoyed this book very much. The world and peoples created by Dekker are just fantastical enough to be gun and intruguing and just realistic enough to make them both very beleivable.

The further into the story you get, the more it becomes a Christian allegory, but it doesn't preach and is a very fun book none-the-less.

It's the Chronicles of Narnia for adults.
