Ich hab jetzt 2,5Jahre gebraucht um das Buch zu lesen. Man könnte fast sagen, ich mag keine Märchen

Absolutely amazing. Bardugo has taken inspiration from classic stories and woven them into the Grishaverse. I found each story grow more sinister as I progressed with some themes being incredibly dark.

If you're a fan of classic fairy tales then you'll certainly enjoy The Language if Thorns. Its also a stunning book to add to your collection with a beautiful embossed hard cover and illustrations on almost every page.

I wasn't expecting to like this like I did. The stories were quaint and unique and sometimes quite horrid, but in a Grimms' fairytales kinda way. I also appreciated that there were stories from across the Grishaverse.

A fantastical collection of short stories rooted in the grishaverse, each with its own further roots in distinct countries from the fictional world, some stories are longer than they needed to be but most are just the perfect length. Either way, this Grishaverse anthology is a perfect way to showcase more details from within the world of the Grisha, almost acting as a sort of world building supplement to the rest of the series, ever-so perfectly.
