Not an easy book to read. This book provides an interesting experience that challenges the reader to get uncomfortable. To be honest, at times I really didn't love the protagonist because I couldn't truly relate to where she was at and why she made certain choices. I had to make an effort to get into her shoes, which is an important part of reading these types of books. The story allows readers to grow their empathy and attempt to understand the way people cope with traumatic experiences in different ways. Read it.

This book was a good one, it made you feel a bunch of emotions. I read it super quick because I wanted to know what happens. I was a little disappointed in the end but that’s not my story to tell. Page 250 (on the kindle) got me

5 ⭐️ gut wrenching read
I related to Eden under different circumstances; after something really big happens in your life and without you even knowing, everything seems to go downhill from there, you just keep falling and falling down this rabbit hole until you break, and you’re so tired , so tired that you don’t even know what to do with yourself. i think that page 294 and 295 really hit me, and my tears just came pouring from there until the very last page.
thank you Amber Smith for writing this beautiful book and sharing a part of you that is so personal onto these pages. not only that, i believe that one of the greatest things a person can do is show someone that they’re not alone, and they have a voice.

I honestly went into this book blind, the only knowledge I had was it previously made people cry. i got into the book surprisingly, from the first page i was hooked and couldn't put down the book. the end of the book honestly made me half sob half want to throw up. some parts made me sick for personal reasons but otherwise i would 100% recommend this to those who want to go on an emotional rollercoaster. i would not describe it as an easy read however the book flowed so perfectly. the jumps between times confused me about the time of year sometimes but mostly i was able to follow. personally i read this when i needed a break from romance besides wanting to read this book for long regardless so when i saw the opportunity i took it and i do not regret the decision in the slightest. the last about 50 pages were hard hitting and i could sit comfortably.
