I've read some of this before, but I'm finally settling in to read the whole series, now that it is complete. Admittedly, there is not a great deal of character development, or unique characterizations (aside from Glenn, maybe). The show managed to accomplish more in its first episode. Howver this comic has a lot more time to let us get close to the characters. Well some of them.
The grayscale graphics are welcome, as the scenes are gruesome enough without being full color. Character designs are okay. Nothing has blown me away yet.
