My favorite by Ashley, hands down. this book has shattered me completely. what a beautiful story. <3 I love how Ashley weaves everything together. it is such a beautiful story of love, but also life and grief. I loved it loved it. and while it was a punch in the gut, gosh was it sorely needed.

My Favorite quotes: “The love stays. the love stays and so do we.”

"She lived because she loved, and she lived because she was loved, and what a lovely lifetime she gave us.”

(pro tip: if you are dealing with grief or loss, get them tissues -- especially for the acknowledgment section).

6/5 ⭐️
I had so many expectations about this book and I finally know why it is so loved.
The way Ashley Poston can write about grief is so good and it feels so real and raw.
I loved the magical realism aspect of the apartment and I appreciated that it wasn’t explained how, it felt more magical this way.
Clementine and Iwan were so adorable, I loved them with all my heart.
my new roman empire tbh
