This series should have ended with the third book. But it wasn't horrible.

Unbelievable feels.
I cried. Multiple times.
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S OVER!

I guess we still have TDA to look forward to, but I just want more Jace and Clary.

this book deserves all the stars. like all of them.

How do I even begin to describe this book. Well I'll start off by saying that The Mortal Instruments is absolutely one of my favorite series. City of Heavenly Fire was absolutely breathe-taking, leaving me speechless and in tears. The writing was beautiful, and words can't express how much I'll miss these characters. But that's the thing, they're not gone. Not entirely. They'll be in our hearts forever. Thank you, Cassie, for writing a memorable series, ave atque vale.

This book.... There are no words. The best book in The Mortal Instruments. Best book Cassandra Clare has written. Best young adult fiction book I have read. The scene on Page 520 was perfect. My favourite romantic scene in young adult fiction. Worth the wait, but it was hard to say good bye to these guys.

The ending was okay, I LOVED THE PART IN THE END WITH TESSA AND JEM. IDK, I'm just really used to not everyone getting such a happy ending (like someone major dying), but it was fine!!!
