Unfortunately I was disappointed by this book. It has an interesting idea - reuniting past lovers and the heroine willingly agrees to learn submission at the hands of the hero. But despite my hopes that the shared history would make Kate and Matt's behavior seem more natural and their feelings more real, I just couldn't feel the love between them. They both seemed irrational to me - she went running in panic in a mall to escape him, like he's going to kill her if he sees her, and he had no idea why he offered Kate the lessons in submissions or what he was doing all through the book, and that are just a few examples about what I didn't like. When a hero in a book is dominant, I want him to be confident in himself and in his actions and I was missing that in Matt.
I still liked the idea of the book so it wasn't bad in my opinion, but I expected more.

3.5 out of five stars. It was good but after awhile I started skipping through the sex scenes; there were too many. But it was entertaining.

Super quick read; finished in an afternoon at our cabin in the woods. Not as dark as "Fifty Shades of Grey" but similar content around a dominant/submissive relationship.

Not good, seemed like I was reading a book way into a series. Mismashed and disconbobulated writing, boring MCs, sex was good if a little porny (lots of oh yes oh yes, fuck me). Also, BS about the main lady, whose name I can't remember, saying how could she submit fully? Oh I can't its not right, I need to get the upper hand.
