I wanted to love this right off the bat, but I couldn't give it as many stars as I wanted. I'm glad for the mixed weight representation in the manga I just wish it could've existed without it revolving around eating, food or weight. Overall, it was a cool read and hopefully the other two volumes bring the vibe.

The male lead definitely has a feeding kink.

Minegishi is the purest of souls, who obliviously fetishes Otsu based on his adorable size.
Unintentionally problematic setup aside, the purity in the story writing and the intent with creating a love story that accepts beauty in all forms warmed my heart - just like it clearly melted Otsu out of his stubborn funk.
It's the fluff we need in the '20s decade.

I DNF’d this manga because it was just….weird?
I bought this a few years ago at this bookshop that had a little card on it from an employee recommendation and it sounded cute so I picked it up. But this wasn’t what I was expecting it felt like it’s was kinda fetishizing one of the male characters and I didn’t like that.
Also just some of the scene were super cringy, like it was just very uncomfortable to read and obviously uncomfortable for some of the characters. The only thing I did like about this book is when one of the side characters said in the background “isn’t that sexual harassment,” because she wasn’t wrong.
I can’t tell if this was supposed to be satirical or not either way not for me I’m good thank you!

That is so sweet & wholesome. I love reading fluffy manga and these two are so funny together. Minegishi shows his feelings for Otsu, by giving him food; he loves seeing the happy face he makes when he eats. It's just his way of showing his affection and he just wants Ostu, happy. I can't wait to see how their relationship will progress. I feel sorry for Tanaka; he is caught in the middle of a clueless pair. He can see how they feel for each other, but they are dancing around it. Bring on the next volume!

Charming. Cute. Lovely. A simple, happy plot with no stress/drama, and a quick read that was nothing but enjoyable. Exactly the stress-free read I needed, that was both fun, sweet and romantic.

I’m on the fence about this one…
First, it’s cute and light! Follows an episodic story progression complete with childish excitement and a grumpy guy in denial. Oh, and he’s a bit on the chubby side.
But I don’t know, I’m teetering between just accepting that Minegishi loves to feed Otsu because he likes seeing him geniunely enjoy something and borderline having a fetish of keeping him fat. It feels like it’s MEANT to be the first one, though I can see how people might take offense. That’s why I’m giving it 3 stars - it’s not ‘I don’t like this’ territory, but it’s ‘I’ve got some issues with it’.
I do like when Otsu catches himself blushing and gets frustrated with himself and when Minegishi gets excited that Otsu likes what he brings/makes him. The dynamic between them with the office setting is interesting too. Not sure if I’ll continue the series but I’m glad I checked it out at least!
