Okay, I read this book nine days ago and just never gotten around to conveying my thoughts about it. So, I'll try my best with this review.

The book starts immediately where the first one left off. Although I prefer this book better to the first one I'm rating it a 0.25 star lower than the first one because although the plot picked up much more in this book and we got into way more things; there was just too much sex in this book for me to rate it highly.

And obviously, that's the point with these types of books. I knew what I was signing myself up for, however, I feel like the smut scenes would happen at the most inopportune times. They didn't flow well into the story that well and some were kinda uncomfortable. I know everyone loves the vine scene, but the consent was very dubious and maybe that's a thing cuz I have heard of dub-consent before. But it just wasn't working for me. She said no multiple times. Her legs were shaking; she could barely stand and they still had their way with her. I just wasn't a fan.

Also speaking of the smut, I feel like Winnie lost any type of personality she had in the first book in this one. Literally, in all her chapters all she was concerned about was which lost boy she was going to bone and obsessing over the fact that Vane won't give her the time of day. Now, this certain aspect went over my head considering the deliberate salacious content in this book, but I saw someone comment something about Winnie and Vane and it really opened my eyes a little bit. Vane had refused Winnie numerous times in this book and the previous but she still continues to harass and lowkey assault him. I know he did take it a little far when he like blasted her against a wall, but she knew what she was getting into; I don't feel bad for her anymore. She wouldn't leave that man alone when he said no many times so she got what she got. I know as the reader we're supposed to infer that Vane has these suppressed feelings for Winnie and he's only holding back because of his death shadow powers. Still, that observation isn't really that overt to make that assumption. Hence, I understand why people would feel uncomfortable with their dynamic (or any of the other dynamics in this book to be honest). I know it's fiction and it isn't too bad, but it is something that should be pointed out.

Not much characterization in this book. I wish Cherry was utilized better. All the women in this book suck and Cherry is so pick me (literally); it's disgusting and the boys' devotion to Winnie after only knowing her for a week and only having sex with her for a majority of that time is laughable. The world-building lacks tremendously. The plot got better, but it's not phenomenal. I know all these things, but that's all fine if you're looking for a quick smutty read and that's what I came here for. So, I'm not complaining. I don't take the things in this book series seriously (yes, i'll be continuing; i've made it this far might as well see how it goes; it's great that they're so short or else I would've stopped at book 1).

Also, sometimes I feel like even if the author wasn't taking her book seriously because there's literally a chapter where she mixes up the twins' names. I went to other reviews to see if they noticed that too and they did. Like girl, you added all these POVs, and yet you can't be track of who is who. I just found that funny.

Spice Rating:🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 (or a 4 maybe; still not sure how to rate the spice in this book, but besides the vine scene i didn't think anything too crazy happened; however there are ALOT of smut scenes in this book)

What if Peter Pan had a best friend named Tinkerbell?  What if Tinkerbell fell in love with Peter Pan, but he didn’t return her feelings?
What if the repercussions of these two coexisting facts still existed five generations later?

This is a dark why choose retelling of Peter Pan.  And sure, a lot of spice exists.  But what I love about this book is how all four male main characters fulfill different aspects and needs of the fmc.  They’re written well with a compelling story underneath and I will reread this series again in the future.

I still loved Vane in this book, but the book/story/writing weren't as good as the first book, IMO. And I feel like I noticed some plot holes, or things that didn't make sense.

But overall I did still enjoy reading this book.

If Cherry has no supports then I'm dead..

I support her rights and wrongs (my girl can't do anything wrong in my eyes)
