Erin and Charlie knew each other growing up and he use to steal things from her. So it was a shock to Erin that Charlie was the police officer that showed up when her house was broken into. They hadn't seen each other in a long time so the decided to get to know one another. Everything was working as best as they could. Charlie was open to Erin about not wanting a relationship and she agreed. But things get messy when feelings get involved and some secrets are discovered. This book was so good. Charlie and Erin's character development was fantastic.

I wish this was Dual POV! Charlie’s news would have been so much easier to digest if we were able to read his POV and find out about his secret earlier in the book. Their initial conversation (argument) is what made me lower my rating from 4 to 3.5.

I’m very happy that Erin and Charlie ended up together, as I found them to be cute. However, there’s a lot of unresolved drama between the two of them. He’s too quick to be defensive, and she is too quick to see Charlie as her bully. There needed to be more sweet moments to counteract some of what’s in their past.

I have loved every book in this series so far and couldn't wait to dive into this book, especially after reading the blurb. I mean furry handcuffs, a childhood nuisance and a night of hammering each other. How could I not want to read this?

I have to admit that I wasn't sold on Charlie in the beginning as he came off as kind of an arrogant prick, even if I can't deny he knows how to use a power outage to his advantage. Seriously, when it came down to get down and dirty, that arrogant prick thing he had going on, it really worked.

The sex scenes in this one might have been my favorite of all the books. I suppose it's the idea of the "good girl" who really just needs a "bad boy" and what happens when she gets exactly what she wants from him, without knowing she even wanted it. Super hot.

I couldn't figure out where the conflict was going to come from in this one until BOOM it just kind of surfaced in the last half of the story. I never even saw that coming and when it did I felt everything that Erin did.

Through all of the books the common theme that made me the happiest was the friendship between Mia, Coco and Erin. They wen through so much together and were always there for each other every step of the way. Through thick and thin, through the stupid and naive, the sad and the happy. Their's is the type of friendship every girl wants and should have. I absolutely adore that Melanie brought back Mia to end the series with and leave it on a really happy note.

If you enjoy funny, sexy and well written stories that will make you smile, cry and swoon then you should pick up this book, no the whole series straight away.
