“We are but fevered stars. Here for a little while, bright with promise, before we burn away.” pg 263
I enjoyed Fevered Star.
Does it suffer from second book syndrome? I don’t know. I mean, the first book slowly pulled the threads of the plot and characters together, and I feel like this book was the same way. There was a lot of focus on politics, of course. It felt like a second book, but at the same time it didn’t?

I'm looking forward to what the final book will bring, especially since there's still so many plotlines to wrap up! I already know I'll be in somebody's bookstore on the release date to purchase my copy. I can't wait to dive into this rich world again.

There were a few POVs I wanted more of, but I ultimately understand why we had the characters we did in this installment and appreciate where we ended and where we will likely go from here.
Again, the full-cast audio production is excellent and I highly recommend!
