I couldn’t get into this book at first and the millennial mom and custody battle stuff wasn’t for me, but Lauren’s daughter Adelaide is perfect and I loved Lauren and Jude’s friendship. It picked up for me about halfway through and then I sped through the rest. I did feel like was refreshing to read a book about so many different types of relationships between women, from friends to mothers and daughters and playgroup moms, etc. I ended up enjoying this book, but feel like I would’ve connected with it more as a mom.
