It was not the best book I have ever read by Mary E. Pearson, but I quite enjoyed it. I liked learning about Morrighan and the time before, it was interesting to see how the world became to be and it seems that Jase was right because before the kingdom was named after Morrighan, at Tor's Watch, the Ballenger family was already settled there with an army, which was a rather intriguing detail that I have noticed. I liked being in the story universe again.
Minor: Animal death, Child abuse, and Child death
