May need to let a few of the trades back up to read these as once. There eso many twists that one trade isn't a satisfying read.

The fact that I immediately looked up when the next volume will come out as soon as I finished says a lot about what I thought about this volume. October 2018 cannot come soon enough.

Excited to finally be getting in to the meat of this plot, but what in the entire hell was the point of Sakhmet. Like, at all.

Okay, talk about major MAJOR twists in the plot and characters! I’m pretty sure I was shouting/gasping “WTF?!” while reading 90% of this vol. It was a little nuts. I think the final issues of this one packed more gut-punching action than vol 4 did! So many deaths I did not anticipate and soo many twists revealed—especially that last one with the talking heads and the massive evil character reveal? Whaat!

Clearly, this volume had a lot going on. Minor character redemption for Persy but not sure if that’s gonna last. I reckon at this point my favorite characters are only Baal and Cass. But seriously, the storyline? I’m intrigued and I want (I want!) to know more, yet I feel like at this point the creators are just going to throw even more random, crazy twists without giving us readers any clear idea of what direction this story is gonna go. No questions answered, only more questions piled on! Hmm...

Another great installment of the series with some mind-blowing revelations!

I really enjoyed some of the new perspectives we got to see. I loved the bits of the issues that focused on Dionysus. I loved the scenes between him and
SpoilerCass. The reveal that he had a crush on her was interesting, and I wish that had been developed further.

We also get a glimpse into Persephone/Laura's motivations and feelings, and I hope that we see more of that.

The big twists in this collection of issues are huge and really take the story in new directions.

Everything was well done. It strikes a good balance between character development and action.

Every single time I think I got all the pieces...a curve ball is thrown...whew...

So, she still alive?

Was the head too damaged is that why she couldn't take it?

Where are they?

So, that guy really Woden?

What is really wrong with Persephone? She is strange....

What in the ACTUAL fuck is going on?!??

Man, these gods got problems! The art is still glorious and the story is intriguing enough I do believe I'll go start the next volume.
