Even si maling. Mereka gak tau tapi krn gue pembacanya tau

This is the fifth book by Keigo I’ve read, and unlike his Detective Galileo and Detective Kaga series, which center around mysteries, this one has a heartwarming vibe with a blend of fantasy and time travel.
The story’s structure is unique. Each chapter introduces a character facing personal struggles who reaches out to the Namiya General Store for advice, and every story includes their letter and response. Switching between the letter writers and recipients allows us to get into each character's thoughts and understand their feelings. The time-travel element isn’t just a fun twist—it delivers a meaningful message about how small acts of kindness in the past can deeply affect someone’s future. The decisions made by both the letter senders and the advisors—like Yuji and the three young men—not only shape their own lives but impact others’ lives as well.
One of the best parts of this book is how characters from different stories are subtly connected. Each chapter is filled with unexpected turns and wraps up satisfyingly. I even found myself flipping back to earlier pages to double-check details and was amazed at how everything tied together. This connection is what makes this one of my favorite books by Keigo.
Each story hits on an emotional level, and some even brought me to tears, especially the second chapter, which beautifully captures family themes. I do think the three main characters—Shota, Kohei, and Atsuya—could have been developed a bit more, but they still have a solid redemption arc, and the ending offers a sense of hope for their growth.
Though the pace is slow, as with many slice-of-life novels, it never felt boring. The light writing style makes it relatable, helping readers connect with the characters’ emotions. I love how each story ends with a sense of optimism and hope.
This book is perfect for slice-of-life fans who enjoy light yet meaningful stories. Its messages about life, kindness, redemption, and hope are beautifully conveyed, reminding us to appreciate life and the little things around us.
