I absolutely love Aphra, she's so chaotic and funny. The true fail woman we should have more of.

While this is mostly a recount of the Vader comic from her pov, I never got bored. The insights we get from her past were also extremely cool.

Doctor Aphra is a scoundrel and a very likable character. I really enjoyed reading this novel and getting to know more about her. She is fun and charismatic. I can't wait for more stories about her and seeing what trouble she makes along the way.

As someone who knows she will never catch up on the comics referenced in this audiobook, I'm so thankful it exists! Dr Aphra's misadventures as Vader's lackey made for fun listening, especially with a voice actor as talented as Emily Woo Zeller.

As much as I loved it, though, please never ever have Catherine Taber voice Leia again because I'm not sure WHO that was, I just know it wasn't Leia.

I really enjoyed this audio drama! I'd read the source material in the comics over the summer, but it was lovely to have it all put together cohesivly in this format & great to revisit. The performances were wonderful.

What can I say? I'm a sucker for the irreverant, incorrigible Dr. Chelli Lona Aphra.

Story is just chaotic, but enjoyable. Apnea is just a comedic relief character for what feels like every situation. But the book also makes Vader look weak, which I don’t think is a fair description, though it does give us a few bits of insight. Here for the comedy, enjoyed the story, nothing really at stake.

The story itself is fun enough, and the characters from the movies that are in the story are enjoyable as would be expected. The only problems I had were:

Aphra is unbearable
000 is unbearable
Bt is unbearable

I literally can’t stand any of them, they are not funny or witty in any way to me.
