Fairly sure I would not have stuck with this were it not for me getting the audiobook. Only real problem was that Scrooge sounded too much like Nigel Thornberry for me and I was having a bit of difficulty taking him seriously, but Tim Curry's voice acting was incredible, and it was quite an enjoyable story!

“There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.”

Glad I finally got to read this Christmas classic.

A solid classic well-deserving of its fame.

One of the best stories to read in the holiday season. This time I opted to listen to the Audible version read by the incomparable Tim Curry. I’m pretty sure this will get another listen before the Christmas season is over. A personal all-time favorite.
