I don’t know how it happened but I read this book in nearly one sitting. I couldn’t look away even though I wanted to.
Same/similar issues as I’ve had with the first book.
if Charlie needs anything at all it’s therapy! What the fuck?! Definitely has Stockholm syndrome after all that happened on the beginning, and everything after that went too…. “well” in spite of what happened. I get that everyone deals differently with trauma, but what the hell was that?!
And the writing style is just not for me.
Can anyone explain to me, why I still want to read the next book? Because I do 🤷🏻‍♀️

Signed for Him was such an amazing emotional rollercoaster that made me bawl my eyes out twice when I rarely cry for a book. J.R. Dust completed the duet in such vivid details and plot that it kept me hooked from the beginning. I am heartbroken, but not at the same time and I can't wait for more from her.

**this was an ARC read**

*the good stuff*
Love the characters and the redemtion for Liam.
Love how we had the inner thoughts of Charlie and what she was thinking when she was held captive. how she was pissed that she felt anything for Liam at first because he was hurting her, to then feeling shame and eventually understanding
Love how I eventually ended up liking Liam after initially hating him in book one and beginning of book two.

*ehh, could have been better stuff*
I feel like things were happening so fast, not much is explained. felt like there were minor time jumps and so much happened in between said times but they weren't explained.
I would read and then think its going to explain something but then it brushes it off and just continues on. felt like I was missing something.

overall good book, I am intrigued about Grays story and where that is going to go.

CHARLIE IS A BAD ASS BITCH!

If you haven’t yet, read book one and then immediately pick up this one! Picking up right off of book 1, your sucked in. You will laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll scream, and even have to pick your jaw up off the floor once or twice. This book was a ROLLERCOASTER!

I know I've read JR Durst before and I remember saying "I'd give this author a go with another character." , well...clearly I didn't listen to myself when I received the sequel to Signed for Him.

I know at the end of the last book, I was feeling uncomfortable with the ending but thankfully the author had replied to my uncertainty.

Now as soon as you get into this story, JR has given a list of trigger warnings, which according to my phone is two pages long...though it may be shorter in a physical copy.

I'm glad the author gave trigger warnings cause damn..for the first time ever I needed a mental health "check in" break by page 5. It was that intense with a particular topic that it forced me to remember a few situations that I never asked to be in.

Unfortunately I did get a bit confused during the first couple of chapters..was the pages alternating between Gray and Liam? I know she was missing her x2 love interests from the first book but I got a tad bit confused with multiple male names being mentioned.

Now I'll be honest, I don't know if it's cause this story feels like a mental toll or I was reading this at the worst times (before and after work) but I kind of struggled with this story.

I felt like signed for him was repeating itself.

Once I got to 38% of the story,I kinda wanted to walk away from it.

I started to realise this has a huge shift from book 1, book 1 felt like it was about forced marriage for a boss' daughter scenario while this just feels like Charlie just wants sex 24/7, almost feels like it's nothing to the story.

Check the trigger warnings! Gosh I can’t even explain the emotional roller coaster this book put me threw. I couldn’t wait to read this since I read the first one and it did not disappoint definitely a must read. The writing just makes you believe in the characters.

ARC Review!

The second book in the Signed With Love series came with a rollercoaster of surprises and so many unexpected developments! The story quickly picks up from the cliffhanger of the first book, which had left me eagerly waiting for this sequel. Let me just say that JR delivered beyond expectations!

My perception of certain characters changed from one book to the other. Those I believed I would adore, left me feeling disappointed, while others I thought I would despise, I found myself loving. Without giving too much away, Charlie's world is turned upside down as she deals with her trauma while simultaneously navigating newfound feelings and coming to the realisation that certain feelings she once had for others have now changed.

In a nutshell, this book will take you through a whirlwind of emotions that will keep you on edge from start to finish, and will evoke some deep emotions from its readers!

This was a solid spicy dark romance. The spice was good, it was dark like I like it and the characters in this second book had the depth I was looking for in the first. I won’t lie at first I was annoyed about the change in which characters I was going to hate but it was so worth pushing through and seeing their development.
