Good for a demons falling in love as they fight through life and death scenarios. It was what I needed between "serious" reads.

DNF at 47%.

I think more than half of what I read in this book is either MC thinking or talking about how they WANT the other MC but they shouldn't act on it because the sheva destiny is doomed. I get it, they're fated mates, that's why they're inexplicably, powerfully attracted to each other. Acceptable. But maybe don't rub my face in it every other page, please? It got tiring fast. I'm proud of even making it almost the halfway mark even. The plot has a lot of potential but it was completely ruined by that shit for me.

Pretty good despite relying heavily on the whole soul-mate thing.
I am interested in the rest of the series and I think this will appeal greatly to fans of the Black Dagger Brotherhood and The Dark Hunter series.

I really liked this book. Reminded me somewhat of the ghostwalker series. Fast paced, and fun. Ill be reading the other ones as they come out

I think I've found a new fav author :-) what a great book (and I downloaded it for free!!) This is the first book in a 9 book series (so far) called "Order of the Blade"

This story is highly emotive; it had me on the edge of my seat, bawling like a baby, laughing my arse off and shouting in outrage! What more could a girl want from a bit of entertainment.

I like my stories to let me into the minds of the main characters. This book wasn't written in the first person but we still got to hear Grace Matthews' and Quinn Masters' thoughts, which I need to understand the actions of the characters that I'm reading about.

Quinn Masters is a true Alpha Male (drool) but I'm happy to say that Grace Matthews is no "woe-is-me" woolly heroine (Thank the stars!). She's intelligent, self-reliant, loyal, big hearted and has great inner strength - exactly how I like my heroines to be!

I will be reading more books by Stephanie Rowe!

This was actually a pretty good start to the series. There was action from the beginning, but to me it seemed a bit bland. However, the author does develop a flow and the story begins to pick up. By the middle of the book, I was fully engrossed and hating work for cutting into my reading time. By the end, I was ready for the next book in the series.

The Calydons reminded me a bit of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Right down to the scary, angry one that you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. I do enjoy the idea that there is someone for everyone... the idea of the fated mate, so this actually wound up being a very good read for me. The characters themselves were very well written. Quinn was the perfect "take what's his" warrior, and didn't hesitate to let Grace know that she was going to be his. Grace is a strong woman with a very troubled past, who doesn't intend to let destiny rule her. Together they make a great team.

I am looking forward to adding the remaining books to my "To Read" list. I'm sure Stephanie Rowe's writing style will improve even further and each story will be as engrossing as this one.

This was the first of her books that I have read, but it certainly won't be the last! I loved this story of love overcoming evil! It's a paranormal thriller that had me from the beginning! I can't wait to read the next in the series.
