I loved, loved, loved this book!!!! The characters were adorable, the tension was so good. Like other Emma St Clair books, there is an animal scene… kitty’s got claws!! I absolutely loved how all of the member’s of the team treated “Boss” and how protective of her they were. This is a very sweet, clean, romance, and I really like that Emma puts content warnings so you know if you need to watch out for something. I 100% fell for the hockey player.
One thing I didn’t love was the relationship that Parker had with her dad. I know that some relationships are like that, and I did like that she starts to stick up for herself more, but his love never really showed up, just his controlling behavior. However, this part was really well written and looked down at during the book, and it is part of the content warnings, just in case it’s triggering for you.
Overall, I can not wait for the other books in the Sweater Weather series, each written by a different (favorite) author.
