Well, this installment was every bit as good as the last one. The initial story was probably the best, though. The humor died down, and while the horror wasn't really terrifying, it was still pleasant to read. I enjoyed the artwork more, and the consistent rendering of triptychs was decent.

I enjoyed the doorway story rather thoroughly, and appreciated the return to more traditional Lovecraft tales. Likewise, the college story was thoroughly enjoyable as was the cult one. This was a fun delve into the madness of Lovecraft that wasn't really anything special. I miss the [b: Fall of Cthulhu|1178358|The Fugue (Fall of Cthulhu, #1)|Michael Alan Nelson|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1348472939s/1178358.jpg|1166165] comics all the more for the hit-or-miss style of these short stories. I wish there was more [a: Steve Niles|58947|Steve Niles|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1348976879p2/58947.jpg] in these.
