Bill reminded me of me, even though he is a grandpa and I am not.

Super-fun to read. I love how the facial expressions sometimes show a bit of a different story than the text! Great for lesson on "small moments" - use with early elementary writers.

Caledcot Honor? really? I thought the illustrations were fun, the story was so so, but I replaced the character's names with my kiddo and his BFF and he got a huge kick out of that

my favorite sort of picture book, with lots of above the child's head snarkiness, beautiful illustrations and word bubbles.

I found this book to be really a very sarcastic, humorous account of two boys going to nature camp for the week. The boys like to "practice quiet meditation downstairs," which translates into playing video games together. :) C. 2008, genre-realistic fiction

Good and cute. And not typically what I would think of as Caldecott worthy. It's just super informal and breezy and the kids are just kids doing kid stuff. The art and writing are basically just okay though.

Once again I remember why I love Marla Frazee. Great illustrations and spot on humor that kids and adults can appreciate. Loved everything about this one :)
