I liked this book to start with, when it focused on the swimmers, and wanted the book to continue on that vein. I felt that the second part of the book, where it focused on Alice, felt like an entirely different book and I really didn't enjoy that part of it. The whole thing felt like two completely separate books smashed together and it really didn't work well.
