This book runs along a similar format as the American Girl books, or the Dear America or Royal Diaries. It combines plenty of facts with a little twist of fiction and a fun format that young readers can understand and get excited about. While it was a little far-fetched that the president would take the time to write back and forth with a young woman, the premise was, if not believable, then at least enjoyable.
Kids who enjoy being part of the political process or who like learning about history should enjoy this. If you have a reader who already likes the American Girl series, or Dear America, etc. they should like this, too
Nothing obviously objectionable.
