An eye-opening book about racism. I had not heard about apartheid before this book.

This book was a powerful window to social inequalities in South Africa at the end of and post-apartheid. But it was also a reflection of colonialism, culture imposition and its ramifications around the world. Told from a very personal perspective it touched over topics that are so profound to many, from a valuable perspective.
