I really enjoyed this book. It was my first book by Siobhan
Davis & definitely not my last. Bennett was so jp-i loved it
& the different emotions that the first part of this book
had me feeling was wildddd. Bennett goes from
Sweet to asshole and When you find out why he pushes her
away

DND because it was too fast paced for me. The plot was good, the execution was horrible.

The conversation made me cringe.

It started out strong and then somewhere around 60%, they just got too reasonable and the fire was out for me. I wanted to finish it because of the twists but otherwise I’m not quite in the mood to finish the rest of the series.

The epitome of Italian mafia books.  This book had everything… age gap, sister’s ex, second chance, secrets, twists, rollercoaster of emotions.  I devoured this book!  Sierra is everything you could want from a mafia FMC.  She won’t be stepped on, she holds her own, knows what she wants, and takes it.  And Ben… rough childhood, lost and insecure growing up, thrown into the mafia world and takes it by the reins.  The side characters were everything as well!  I could totally get behind a Natalia and Leo romance and I can’t wait to find out their story in the next book.  As well as Alessa and Serena who were both so loveable.  And even a second-generation story for Rowan because he was just the cutest!

This one has been on my TBR for a while and I'm glad I finally got around to reading it. I love a good "pregnancy after a one night stand" trope, but this book was so much more complex than that. I loved how complicated all the relationships in this story were, from Sierra and her family, especially her sister. To the other sub characters being set up for future books, and finally the sweet and beautiful beginning yet equally complicated relationship between Ben and Sierra, their story progressed really well and in a way that felt believable to me as a reader, and Rowan was adorable.

I knew I was going to like this book, Siobhan David wrote the Sainthood series which is one of my favourite RH ever. I was not let down. Also love duel POV.
