What an utterly silly book. Would be great to read aloud to young elementary. Loved it.

This book was everything I hoped for and more. I was most excited for Sima's illustrations but Trimmer's text is equally wonderful. This is a quirky almost-retelling of Snow White with strong themes of friendship and embracing your talents--whatever they may be. The text has a lot of sly touches (a miniature pony tax attorney!) and humor for all ages. Delightful.

Fun twist on Snow White. Definitely some humor that will go over younger kids heads, but that had me laughing.

A nice retelling of Snow White, featuring some ponies. I liked the unique twists on the original such as Snow Pony extending an invitation for the miniature ponies to come with her instead of just leaving them.

There are a decent amount of things that are clearly written for adults rather than children (tax attorney pony, using the stable as a summer home, turning it into a bed and breakfast), but there is enough kid stuff for young audiences to enjoy. I'll admit, the glue reference was a bit much for a modern children's book. I liked the actual ending, but trying to play off the dark glue joke just wasn't necessary.

Nice pictures. I liked the illustrations, especially all of the details of the braids. I kind of wish Snow Pony would braid my hair because even with two opposable thumbs, I still can't braid as well as she can.

A fun and entertaining version of Snow White for all the horse lovers out there! I loved the miniature ponies and their various jobs. I will admit the last few pages had me startled at having something so dark for a kid's book, but then I was laughing once I flipped the page

As always Jessie Sima's art is amazing and so very fitting for a children's story.
