This was a bit slow paced for me. Legal, courtroom suspense novel. The narrator is great, his voice dripping with southern honey. Not sure that I will continue reading the series, the interest just wasn't there for me.

Average mystery/courtroom drama.

This was just ok for me. Half of the final twist I was able to predict from the beginning and the other half I found to be a bit far fetched! I think that if the male main character were more likeable, I would have maybe given this a higher rating. Not a complete bust but not overly memorable.

Made it to the halfway mark and couldn’t go any further. Just not interesting. Also extremely slow, in a boring way (not in a thoughtful way).
