OMG! I need to go and get the second book of this series ASAP. No, seriously, I can't wait.

Leo's and her partner's life are in a turning point. A very serious health issue that leads to Leo having to step out (momentarily?) from her job as a police sergeant and to be on loan to the DHS and Daria's job as a lawyer in jeopardy after she lost a trail is generating a lot of tension in their relationship.

But the DHS' job ends being a lot more interesting (and dangerous) that anything Leo could have imagined, and she might have found a friend there.

I really enjoyed the mystery. I really had no clue about the culprit until it was unmasked, and then I wnt: But of course! That makes total sense!

The writing, the characters, the plot, everything is great; the facts of the story and the different aspects of it perfectly assembled. I really, really liked it.

But, even as the mystery is perfectly finished, and the case is closed, all the personal aspects of the story are not, and we are left without an answer to Leo and Daria's problems. And I NEED to know! *laughs*

I need to read a lot more from this author, that's for sure.
