This book is really good. I can't wait to read more from Lauren Landish. I have read a couple saying stand-alone in other series from Willow Winters. This is a dark series and a dark book So Check your trigger warnings before starting the series or individual books.

Oh, what a delightful little book this was. Great writing. Interesting characters. Hot sex scenes. Alpha hero. Hold her own heroine. A little angst. A little sweetness. A little drama. All wrapped up in a nice little HEA.

The book follows Lilly and Joseph’s love journey. It is disappointing how we are given limited information about them and their past, making it hard to form an emotional bond with these fictional characters.
The book and storyline felt really rushed and lacked detail and depth. This is my least favourite book from the ‘Highest Bidder’ book series, of which the first two books were excellent! The romantic storyline lacks depth and the spicy level of this book is low compared to the series it belongs to.
