Echoes of you follows Nash and Maddie, two childhood best friends. When Maddie flees an abusive boyfriend, Nash steps in to protect her, and in the process, the bond between the two of them is forever changed.

Nash and Maddie have a lot of ground to cover. Their relationship has drifted apart but they still have a lot of love for each other. I loved how instantly everyone in the community came together to protect Maddie, and how Nash slowly broke down every one of her walls. Catherine Cowles is a mastermind of familial relationships and romantic suspense small town atmospheres.

What can I say about this? Its suspenseful. It has a who did this to you trope. Its freaking amazing.

There was a bit too much angst for my liking lol.  It felt like it was just trauma onto more trauma where I felt myself not really as invested.  I still love the small town vibes and the found family.  Hope the next book isnt as dramatic.

This book broke me, made me cry out and tear up, and then gave me the most comforting hugs ever. I’m a puddle for Nash and Maddie. They’re the epitome of two people so in love they’d die without one another.

I loved how Nash was so overprotective of Maddie because of her dad but the fact that she had to go through that again is so heartbreaking. The way Maddie was so close to Nash and everyone was such a good sport with her melted my heart. It made me so happy seeing Nash and Maddie transition to something more than just friends after everything that happened. I’m loving this series and can’t wait for all the siblings books’.

It has been 20 minutes since I have finished this book and I still think my jaw is on the ground! When I thought the book was going to hit me the a slight turn of disappointment, it took a hard left and threw me into an ending full of twists, turns, shock, and maybe some tears. Every time I thought I could relax I was getting thrown into another bit of fear if what was coming next.

It is going to be hard to top Maddie and Nash as my favorite lost and found couple. The damaged girl trying to free herself from her past, and the overprotective best friend. It cannot get more perfect then these two when it comes to friends to lovers tropes!

I loved getting to see this family again and each story has made me want to know more about the members that we haven’t focused on yet. I didn’t love Nash and Maddie’s story though. Admittedly, friends to lovers isn’t my favorite. There is just never a good enough reason for me to understand why it hasn’t been something more before. This also felt a little too similar to the first book. The spice is easily skipped but I also think it hit too fast again.

Content Notes: Multiple open door scenes
