The Seven Ancient Wonders, as I know it, is an absolutely fantastic book, both as a standalone and as the introduction into the series. The characters are so well written - a certain friendship developing between two would-be enemies being my favourite part of the whole series - and I find myself getting attached to them every time I read this book. I don't think I'll re-read the rest of the series again, but I'll certainly continue to revisit this one.

Action-packed from the get go. This mystery treasure hunt was exciting and interesting. However I was invested in the plot or the characters very much, and so whilst it was a good ride, it's not my favourite.

Usual Reilly with people dying and lots of fast-paced action. Quick read. Jack West, Australian, and othe nations are racing to attain the ultimate power. Indiana Jonesish.

It was good but not exactly my kind of story. I loved the history side and I adored Lily but there was a lot of action and I couldn't keep up with it. It was rather entertaining and Jack West is as clever, maybe moreso, than Indiana Jones. The writing was something different as well.
