Extremely well-researched and tragically-captivating shipwreck/survival story of the Titanic of the South, The Pulaski. Author Patti Callahan does a fabulous job of telling this story with an easy-to-follow dual timeline. I found myself very attached to the characters and it’s due to Callahan’s expert way with drawing the reader alongside. Loved this story!

Very well researched.  Good pacing, both the present day story and the historical story move along keeping the reader interested.

I never realized there was another ship that sunk before the Titanic along the Eastern coast. I thought this was going to be a slow read at 1st but once I started reading I couldn’t stop.

What can I say? Patti Callahan Henry’s writing just makes me so happy. I was absolutely fascinated by the story of the steamship Pulaski and the lives of the passengers that she brought to life. That coupled with the modern timeline that faced hard things head on
