This book has an assortment of poems. Instead of being tied to a theme, the poems tell the story of a life. Poems of childhood, adolescence, adulthood take the reader on a journey through family, love, and more. Some are quite funny, others more serious. These poems are easy to understand, unfussy, and many are sweet and tender.

If you prefer straightforward poetry that you can relate to, you will probably enjoy this collection.
