I enjoyed this book although it angered me quite a bit. It is disappointing and frustrating to read about the extensive corruption of the government. Many of the policies and interests clearly go against most of what many of the great founding fathers believed in. This book will definitely alter your thinking on politics, the country itself, and your role in it.

I found the writing style to be a bit difficult to read. It didn't flow as well as I would have liked but the research is extensive and very well done. I was sad to learn that the author is no longer writing for the NY Times. I think his reporting is important and essential in creating a better and more honest country.
