I am massively behind in updating reviews and can't remember my initial thoughts but this was such a great read on my road trip from DC to Texas! There were several moments that I remembered shocking me as a younger reader that still hit strong after being so invested in these characters.

This is like A Series of Unfortunate Events meets Once Upon a Time. Humans and 'Everafters' aka fairytale characters live side by side but the characters don't age while humans do. The Sisters are descendants of the Grimm Brothers. The whole premise of Grimm Brothers stories being documentation rather than fairytales made up is fantastic.

What a twist!!

I think I'm finally ready for this series to be over. The book wasn't bad, but I just couldn't get into it. I did love the minor flirting between Sabrina and Puck.

Quite a slow start after the awesome 6th book in the series. Thankfully it picked up towards the middle of the book, plus there were a few shock deaths as well as a cliff hanger and a unveiling of who the master of the Scarlett hand was!!
