Read them all as a kid. That's how good they are.

I read a lot of these (although probably not all 64) from the library as a kid. Ah, those summers of reading, reading, reading!

I think I read over one-hundred Nancy Drew books before realizing they were formulaic. Twelve year old me had never been more betrayed, only to find out at fourteen that Carolyn Keene was the publishing name for a whole factory of authors. That said, there's deep appeal to going places and solving mysteries. Can't knock it for what it is.

Another lovely memory of my childhood. This novel opened up my mind and interest in novels containing mysteries. To this day those are my favorite to read, being transported to a place with strange happenings. These I have and will continue to re read in different times of my life. I am forever grateful my parents were able to purchase this entire set for me.

Fabulous series, Carolyn Keene still rocks and Nancy Drew will always remain timeless no matter how many years she's been nineteen! XD

This series is arguably my favorite from childhood. I read all of them, and was disappointed to find the newer Nancy drew stories that came out after this original series were no where near as good.
