I thought this was good, and I love Ocean Vuong's writing, but I'm not a big poetry person. His novel, On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous was definitely more impactful for me personally.

I’ve read On Earth We Are Briefly Gorgeous and very much enjoyed it. To find the poem with that title in this collection was a surprise! Ocean Vuong illustrates all five senses in your head as you read, ways of seeing or feeling something I’ve never encountered before.

I don't think I was in the right headspace for this book, too much sex and violence for me today. I liked a few lines here and there, and I can see the literary merit to some of them, but yeah it's not for me.
