Witzig auf eine einzigartig trockene Art. Gleichzeitig werden tiefgründige Themen adressiert. Wirklich ein Fiebertraum, aber ein fantastischer.

I read this in about 2 hours. It's a wonderful read, and I think the movie translates the odd internal character of the book quite well.

Well, I don't know how things are nowadays, but I can tell you that I don't want to be a female employee in the business world of Japan circa 1991! I'm sure things haven't changed much, but I hope things are more progressive for women. I'll just remain a tourist, thank-you.

Amélie Nothomb is amazing as usual, and this time her theme is somehow lighter than those I was used to.
