this was something else, so glad the book went in the direction it did, posed such an interesting dilemma about online content and its effects

Thanks to Harper Books for the free copy of this book.

 - Is there anything more terrifying than reading a horror novel that is fully based in reality? WE HAD TO REMOVE THIS POST is just that: a barely fictionalized story of a group of online content moderators slowly losing their grip.
- The imagery in this book is unsurprisingly horrific, along with all kinds of slurs and nastiness. Pushing through that, though, is part of what makes this novella so great and awful: you're doing the same thing as the characters.

Very interesting topic, I've read some news articles about how traumatizing work like this (content moderator) can be so this book seemed really interesting. I guess that it is more centered around the characters and how they deal with it (also very much about the main characters love life) but still, quite interesting.
It did end a bit abruptly though, still not sure what to think of it all. I do think all of the characters have just become so desensitised because of their job and that would explain some things they do/say/think.
