a short, sharp story about the effects of the internet on our psyche through the lens of a content moderator.

wish this book was longer. i'll be processing what i read for longer than i was reading.

it's such a shame when books like this focus so much on the concept that the characters don't get fully fleshed out and feel more like props to demonstrate The Message

The epistolary format of this Novela was the incorrect choice in my opinion. I don’t think anyone would write a letter like this to a lawyer so it just feels odd. The violence is sharp and gripping. Theme of the  exploitative. nature of capitalism, the dangers of social media are explored. The characters nature is revealed in an interesting way, but tension comes a bit too late in the story. An unreliable narrator writing to a lawyer is an interesting idea.

pointless and boring, a novella should be a lot more focused on either plot or themes but this fucked up both and also didn’t deliver on the premise

I really liked this, I don't entirely know what to make of it but my initial thoughts are just that it was interesting and unique

I’m glad I ignored the awful reviews.

This was a really good book. Based on something that I knew very little about.

It hit me hard in the gut.

There were a lot of complaints about the ending. I was OK with it. Sometimes that kind of ending is just what the story needs.

I think this one will be with me for a while.
