The twist at the end of this one was definitely more of a surprise than the last. Still largely forgettable

I maybe set my expectations for this one a little too high after loving Follow Me Back so much. I went into this straight off the back of finishing the first book and was so excited find out what the hell happened to Eric and Tessa, although I had an inkling it was about to go the way I thought it was... I was right. Whilst I still enjoyed this one, I thought it was a little predictable and the big twist? Not quite twisty enough for me, I'm afraid, I had it figured by at least a quarter of the way through the book. Overall, a little disappointing, but still a fun read nonetheless.

Finished this in one setting, bite-sized chapters help in devouring this book without being intimidated with the total pages. Unputdownable! Had my ":O" moments from time to time, if we talk about plot-twist. I still have a question left unanswered though....but it's a good read! Enjoyed every second of it. It makes me want to know more.

a good conclusion to the duet! i definitely liked the first book better, both books have semi-predictable plot lines but i still enjoyed them nonetheless!

i definitely predicted who MET was in Follow Me Back, but i didn’t expect the other people involved

4.5 stars!
This book was just as fast paced and intense as the first one!
One of my favorite parts was how supportive and understanding Eric was of Tessa’s anxiety, agoraphobia and triggers. It felt so real. I like how it took place right after the intense cliffhanger of the first book and was basically non-stop heart racing action.
As it got toward the end, I just found myself mind blown around every corner. So many things were a surprise to me (it may have been obvious to some people, but I usually don’t attempt to figure out plot twists, I take them as they come). I was not ready for what happened and I just felt so bad for Tessa, but proud of how she handled everything.
This was an intense duology and I recommend it to anyone looking for a good Sadie/Catfish-esque thriller!

In the follow-up we learn a little more about life for Eric and Tessa now their ordeal is over. Only, this time round there’s people behind the scenes causing trouble.
Starting with them on the run, we see the pair brought back into the routine. Eric and Tessa are clearly each struggling with their own issues, and it’s hard to see a way out when you seem incapable of trusting anyone.
Not really a relationship, but the pair are convinced they’re soulmates. Against the odds they try to deal with some seriously weird stuff.
The resolution makes sense of some odd events, and it’s definitely interesting to watch events unfold. Probably more scary for anyone involved in entertainment. It all seemed too contrived for my liking.
