Ooh I really loved this one. Tavish is so wonderful and Cecily is a delightful character! I loved getting to see more of Hope Springs and see Tavish with a happy ending.
Even though the love triangle from the first 2 books wasn’t my favorite.. Joseph and Katie were definitely right for each other just as Tavish and Cecily are right for each other.

LOVED it! Sarah M. Eden has a way of writing so beautifully that you feel for the character, happy when they are happy and sad when they are sad. I think I cried 5 times throughout this book. I will be honest, after book 2 I wasn't happy that Katie picked Joseph. Now I'm finally ok with it because I love Tavish so much and he has been given all the love and happiness he deserves!

DNF after reading 60% - it has a promising start but it dragged on for way too long, meandering and becoming sappy.

Love this third book in the Longing for Home series. Sarah Eden is so good at taking characters with serious problems and making them relatable and sympathetic. In this story, Cecily is sent to Hope Springs to try to help Finbarr who has been left blind by a horrible fire. He is struggling and angry. His brother Tavish is at his wits end trying to help his brother as well as hold his other family members together. When he first meets Cecily, he is skeptical of her abilities and not only that but she is English, an enemy to the Irish. As Cecily, who is going blind herself, begins teaching Finbarr and making a difference, Tavish begins to see her in a different light, but will his stubborn Irish family ever accept her?
This is a beautiful love story and a fast read. I enjoyed the characters and their various struggles. Highly recommend this series!

Goodness...this book was amazing! Actually, this entire series has been wonderful and I can't wait to read the rest. Tavish and Finbarr been my favorites throughout the series and I loved seeing both of them overcoming their sorrows and trials. And Cecily was a wonderful character and just the perfect mix of firm, loving, and funny.
