I'm the author, so I'm biased. ;)

Hello there! This is the first review in a few days since I wanted to make sure that people saw the birthday giveaway! Speaking of that giveaway THIS book is one that I'm giving away with the journal and pen so that hopefully you can go on to write your own poetry book!

I'd like to give a special thanks to Amanda Leigh herself for giving me a copy of this to read and review and then pass along to you guys!

The cover is really awesome and I believe is the author's own photograph - how cool is that?

This is the first poetry book that I've reviewed on here so that's also a fun first! I'm giving this 3 triquetras because I feel like maybe the poems could have been grouped together. Also, I like poetry, but it seems that I just can't critique. Just because this is 3 instead of 4 doesn't mean that I disliked it - so don't take my word for it. You might love everything about this little book!
I was hoping that the poetry would take me on some sort of journey, but rather seems to be snap shots through time, which is fine, but it didn't really jive with my brain. Maybe I'm just not adept at reading poetry?

The photography was pretty good, very simple, but captured a lot in the meantime. All in all if you like poetry, like photography or the arts at all I think this is a worthy read.

I hope whoever wins this enjoys it!
