Significant improvement on the first volume, with some exciting moments and a real sense of threat and pace. Picking up the third one now!

I adored reading the first issues but these were so boring, i hope the next ones are much better because I can't go through another one of "these"

This is a compilation volume of [a:Charles Soule|1641284|Charles Soule|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1518019458p2/1641284.jpg] mainline Star Wars run, collecting issues 7 through 11 of said run that is set after the events of The Empire Strikes Back.
And what can I say about it?
It's OK: nothing all that special, but nor is it the worst Star Wars I have read.
there's also a whole plot arc about stealing an old translator droid from Coruscant, that feels like it would have been the perfect place to cross over with Doctor Aphra (a character that, truth be told, I never really took too all that much) but which completely squanders that opportunity - I also felt that Poe Dameron's parents (and the fate of at least one of them) is shoehorned just a tad too much for my liking.

I hate that fucking gold robot SO much. He's in every single fucking Star Wars movie basically and then he shows up here too?? I can't even be free of his gold ass in comic book form???
The real crime is how BB8 is written as "beebee-ate" when they say his name. Otherwise my feelings for this volume are the same as the first: story, what story? Oscar Isaac pictures make brain go brrr.

Amazing Comic
I chose the rating because the comic has stunning visuals, unique storytelling ideas and I find interesting seeing the plot and internal conflict in Poe. I also see that in other characters. There’s a lot of great things going for this comic!

Some of the plot was a little too coincidental and convenient, but overall this series has been a lot of fun. Terex makes for a great villain.

I love Poe and Mister Bones, both who are in this comic. I just felt like it was a little bit of a transition book (maybe because I didn't care about Terek at all). But it was interesting, especially how the First Order was leashed before the beginning of The Force Awakens. So, solid book, but not the best.
